Scoring Zone's Take
Jordyn Tyson's draft-season stock takes a hit with news of a right hamstring injury that reportedly could threaten his Week 1 availability. Hamstring issues are notoriously tricky in training camp — they tend to linger, and even when a player returns quickly, teams often ease them back in, which caps early-season target volume and route participation. For a rookie wideout who was presumably fighting for a role and reps to build rapport with his quarterback, missed practice time is a real setback for his ramp-up, independent of the raw injury severity.
For fantasy purposes heading into your draft, treat Tyson as a lower-confidence, higher-risk asset than he was before this news. The two reports diverge on severity (one simply says he'll miss time, the other flags Week 1 availability specifically), and confidence in the more serious report sits at 80% versus 50% for the vaguer one — so hedge accordingly rather than assuming a Week 1 evaporation. Still, any hamstring injury in a rookie wideout is worth discounting his draft price a round or so, especially in redraft formats where early-season production matters.
Actionable takeaway: don't reach for Tyson at his pre-injury ADP. If you already have him stashed on a bench, hold and monitor beat reports over the next couple of weeks rather than cutting him outright — hamstring situations can resolve without lingering effects. But if you're drafting now, treat him as a boom/bust dart-throw pick rather than a locked-in Week 1 contributor, and have a contingency plan at the receiver position rather than banking on his immediate impact.

Fantasy Impact:
Tyson left practice early on Thursday with the injury. It is believed to be a different hamstring injury than what the rookie was previously dealing with. Moore said the possibility of Tyson missing Week 1 can’t be ruled out. Not a good sign for the rookie right now.
