• C Danny Pinter suffered a torn patellar tendon in Wednesday's practice, NFL Network Insiders Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport reported Thursday, per sources. Ethan Pocic is now the Ravens' likely starter at center.

• QB Tyson Bagent is week to week with a hamstring injury, coach Ben Johnson said.

• HC Zac Taylor told reporters that he expects to sit Bengals starters for Saturday's preseason game against Chicago.

• S Taylor Rapp is signing with Denver, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday. Rapp, a 2019 second-round pick of the Rams, spent the last three seasons in Buffalo. Last season, he played in six games (all starts) before undergoing season-ending knee surgery. Rapp was released by the Bills in March.

• TE Sam LaPorta is dealing with a hip injury and sat out Wednesday's practice, per head coach Dan Campbell. The Lions feel good about LaPorta's status long term, Campbell added.
• G Ben Bartch is currently in concussion protocol, per Campbell.
• CBEnnis Rakestraw Jr. left Thursday's practice to be evaluated for a lower leg injury.

• QB Jared Goff will not play in Saturday's preseason game against the Commanders, per Campbell. Joshua Dobbs will get the start and Luke Altmyer will play an equal amount, Campbell added.

• TE Tyler Warren Is expected to miss about a week with a minor groin injury suffered in training camp, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday, per a source. There is no concern about the 2025 first-rounder's availability for Week 1.
