Chargers place veteran C Tyler Biadasz (knee) on season-ending injured reserve
The Los Angeles Chargers will be without a key offseason signing for entire 2026 season.
The Chargers placed veteran center Tyler Biadasz on season-ending injured reserve on Sunday, the team announced.
Biadasz suffered a serious knee injury during Tuesday's joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Biadasz suffered damage to his ACL and additional injuries to his left knee.
Rapoport and Schefter initially reported that Biadasz would be out indefinitely, and that he would meet with additional doctors for further clarity on the injury.

Those examinations appear to have confirmed the worst-case scenario for the Chargers and Biadasz.
Los Angeles signed Biadasz to a three-year, $30 million deal in March, with the hopes that his addition and the return of tackles Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt would help provide stability on the offensive line for Justin Herbert.
Next in line on the depth chart is rookie center Jake Slaughter, a second-round pick out of the University of Florida.
The Chargers also used two sixth-round picks on additional linemen (Logan Taylor and Alex Harkey) in April to build out their depth.
