ROSTER CUTS

  • WR Cedric Tillman is being released, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Thursday. Tillman, Cleveland's 2023 third-round pick, caught 71 passes for 833 yards and five touchdowns in 38 games played (19 starts) over three seasons with the Browns.

INJURIES

  • RT Braden Smith suffered a plantar fascia injury in Wednesday's practice, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday, but it's not expected to be major. Smith is expected to miss some time, but the injury is not long-term.
