Run a live, mock, or Yahoo-synced draft with PigPro recommendations, ADP, foresight, and a finish-line recap.

Using the Draft Room

The Draft Room (/draft-room) is your live draft co-pilot. It tracks every pick, ranks who's left by the PigPro score, and tells you who to take now given your roster and the run of the board.

Start a draft

From the Draft Room setup card, pick a Mode:

  • Live Draft (Yahoo Sync) — connect your Yahoo league; picks import automatically every few seconds as they happen. League size and your slot are read from Yahoo. Just draft in Yahoo and the board follows.
  • Live Draft (manual entry) — you mark each pick yourself (use this if you're not on Yahoo).
  • Mock Draft (opponents auto-pick) — a practice draft where the app drafts for everyone else, stopping on your pick. Great for trying strategies.

Set your league size, scoring (PPR / Half / Standard), draft type (snake / linear), and your slot, then Start Draft.

Readiness check. Before you start, the setup card shows a quick status strip — whether the PigPro board is fresh and (for Yahoo) whether your account is connected. Green means you're good to go.

On the clock

While you draft, the room shows:

  • Top Recommendations — the best picks right now, each with a plain-English reason (tier, positional need, scarcity), its PigPro score, its ADP, and — when it's your turn — a "% lasts" estimate of the chance the player survives to your next pick.
  • Available Players — the full board, ranked by PigPro, with ADP alongside so you can see who's a value (PigPro likes them more than the market) versus a reach. Filter by position or search by name.
  • Foresight — a preview of who's likely to be gone before your next pick.
  • Positional Need / My Roster — what you've drafted and where you're thin; the board nudges toward roster needs (and your historical weak spots).

ADP everywhere. ADP (average draft position) appears next to PigPro on both the board and the Player Hub, so the score is always shown against the market it's beating. See What is PigPro? for how the score is built.

When the draft ends

Once every roster spot is filled (or Yahoo reports the draft is over), the room shows a "Draft complete — your team" recap: your final roster grouped by position with the pick each player was taken at. Auto-refresh stops and the pick controls go away. From there you can open the full retrospective (Yahoo leagues — draft grades and the full board) or jump to Season tools to start managing your team.

Tips

  • Keep the draft tab open during a live Yahoo draft — picks sync while the page is open.
  • If a pick can't be matched (rare — usually a brand-new rookie or a defense), the room shows a banner with a Re-check now button; click it to retry the import.
  • Mock drafts are saved, so you can leave and resume from the session list.
